Dublin, Ireland’s Pusher returns to his own Indicate imprint this July with the ‘Dusk’ EP, comprised of two original cuts.
Throughout the past decade, Irelands Pusher has been steadily unveiling his take on contemporary House music via his own Indicate label through self-released EP’s across both vinyl and digital. Here, Pusher delivers his latest work with ‘Dusk’, employing Balearic breaks laced with percussive textures and rich chords skilfully crafted with the upcoming summer’s dance floors in mind.
Opening the release on the a-side is ‘On My Way’, employing bumpy broken drums, bright piano sequences and cinematic pad lines alongside resonant synth licks and a driving low-end groove.
‘Our World’ follows on the flip side, leaning more towards the Balearic summer sound with choppy keys, airy strings and raw, organic percussion laid out across six and a half minutes.
Snappy breakbeats, acid-drenched samples, and ’90s techno textures abound on this five-track knockout from the South Korean DJ and producer. Bandcamp New & Notable Sep 13, 2023
